Congratulations to Brecon RFC who won the WRU National Plate at the Principality Stadium on Sunday. An amazing achievement! The boys celebrated into the night and on Monday they celebrated in style with a tractor and trailer pull through Brecon. Hundreds came out to watch and support as the boys went from the clubhouse on the Watton along Glamorgan Street and through High Street into the Bulwark.
The parade, which started just after 4pm, was led by Powell in a small 4x4 gator buggy driven by club sponsor Gary Bowen who admitted he was persuaded to take on the driving responsibilities on Monday afternoon. The parade is the brainchild of Powell, who is known as one of Welsh rugby’s larger than life characters.
